Seriously, where has the time gone?!?! Our baby girl is now 3 months old and her blue eyes are still sticking around. I have hazel eyes and daddy has brown eyes, and I'm totally in love with her baby blues. A couple months ago, before we knew how quickly Bridget would be growing, her grandma got her the cutest little denim jacket from a lady who adds a western flair to denim jackets (and makes purses). We thought it would fit her this fall, and already Bridget is growing out of size 9 months and this jacket is size 6-9 months. And her jeans are a size 12 months, can you believe that?!?! I thought ahead a bought a size larger since we are doing cloth diapers and they are a little fluffier than disposables. Thankfully, the jacket is still a little big, but not by much! I just knew I wanted to use this jacket, her denim bow, and a pair of blue jeans for her 3 month photos. She wasn't the happiest with the warm jacket, but as always, she's super cute for her photos. As you can tell, she LOVES to stand up. She'd rather stand up or sit up than do tummy time. She loves to see all the things and she can't see anything lying down. And when you have her at a recline, she literally tries to do crunches so that she can sit up to see. Bridget still loves her walks in the front pack carrier and will get grumpy when we've been inside for too long. She LOVES to smile, not just at mommy and daddy, but everyone. And she loves to tell stories and laughs at her own jokes. The other day, she was telling her great grandma how excited she was to try all the fresh fruits that were getting prepared and ready for when she's old enough to try them in a couple months. I have a couple weddings coming up to photograph and we recently found out that she has forgotten and now refuses to eat from a bottle, even though it's the same milk she's been drinking since birth. I guess she'll eat when she's hangry, or just wait for mommy. On the other hand, she sleeps 9-11 hours at night without food, so a couple hours isn't really that long for her to wait for food. We've been trying the bottle with her on and off, but no luck yet. It's so funny this has happened, because the first couple weeks of her life, she only ate from a bottle. I guess we waited too long to introduce it back to her.
We both love our little Bridget Pearl. She's the best thing that has happened to us and I can already see her being an amazing big sister when the time comes.
