Our little peanut is one month away from a year old! I've been really enjoying seeing Bridget experience all the things and being engaged in different activities; while going for walks, shell' reach out her hand to touch plants. She also has amazing balance! We've been having her sitting on our shoulders and she has zero problems with staying sitting up tall.

Here we are again, another month older for our little girl. This month Bridget got her first cold and is just getting over it. She has been so good lately, even with her being a little sickie. Well, here's the little miss as she turned 4 months old! As you can see, we had a friend join us for our little photo session in the nursery today. This is Kona, she is one of our two dogs. Both the dogs are awesome with Bridget, especially with Kona. She is such a sweet dog and so patient when Bridget is fussing or crying, and she doesn't even complain (too much) when dinner is late. I hope you're ready for a lot of photos of this cute blue-eyed strawberry blond baby!
Seriously, where has the time gone?!?! Our baby girl is now 3 months old and her blue eyes are still sticking around. I have hazel eyes and daddy has brown eyes, and I'm totally in love with her baby blues. A couple months ago, before we knew how quickly Bridget would be growing, her grandma got her the cutest little denim jacket from a lady who adds a western flair to denim jackets (and makes purses). We thought it would fit her this fall, and already Bridget is growing out of size 9 months and this jacket is size 6-9 months. And her jeans are a size 12 months, can you believe that?!?! I thought ahead a bought a size larger since we are doing cloth diapers and they are a little fluffier than disposables. Thankfully, the jacket is still a little big, but not by much! I just knew I wanted to use this jacket, her denim bow, and a pair of blue jeans for her 3 month photos. She wasn't the happiest with the warm jacket, but as always, she's super cute for her photos.
How is it possible that Bridget's checks are even more punchable now?!?!? She is such a sweetie pie and is already 2 months old!
Here are a couple things that she loves right now: • Standing - she loves to stand up on mama and daddy’s laps. • Walks - she gets cranky in the evening and the only thing that makes her happy is going on a walk in the neighborhood. She’ll either look around the entire time or fall asleep. • Holding things - she’s getting the hang of holding things like her unicorn blanket toy or even her burp cloths or receiving blankets. • Smiling - yes, she smiles at us now and will even coo in different ways like she’s having a conversation with us. Keep on reading for more totally cute photos of my little girl. One month has flown by in record time! It's true what they say ... they grow up so fast.
Our little girl loves to hold up her head when we hold her; she even braces with her forearms on our chests to lift herself off us more to look around. Bridget is staying awake a little longer with less demands for food and she loves eating (just like her mommy and daddy). She is gaining weight like a champ (3 pounds total so far!). I hope you're ready for some super cute photos of our blue-eyed babe. One of the reasons I learned photography was so that my children will have amazing photos of them. Bridget is my greatest creation and my perfect muse. Our little Bridget Pearl is already a week old! As a professional photographer, I know how important it is to capture the little moments and I just knew I would want photos taken as a little family of three. Sierra came to our home and did a newborn nursery session for us, and yes, she's also the one who did our maternity session.
I hope you're ready for some absolute cuteness! This is the ultrasound that we have been waiting for, the one that will tell us about the placenta previa or the low lying placenta. Plus, we got a couple more cute images of our little girl!
Here's a nice profile of her ... We've been on the lookout for a long and low dresser that would double as a changing table for the nursery and I found one on Facebook Marketplace (think Craigslist, but on Facebook). It was a steal at $75 and was just dying for a new life. This is what we did with it.
John and I met Sierra out at my family's farm for our maternity session. Be prepared for some stellar photos, all taken by SierraStorm Photography and then I had the opportunity to edit the images myself.
I got a new lens yesterday and was dying to use it and since Peanut isn't here yet, Kona and Coal are my subjects. So be ready for some puppy-dog cuteness!
First up is miss Kona. I just love her big brown eyes and how they match our hardwood floors. |
