There's many things that are going into our nursery, like a crib and of course daddy has to put it together! This crib is from IKEA, called Gulliver and the mattress is from IKEA, also. The combo was only $139! Totally affordable! I found a couple other items at IKEA and some from Facebook Marketplace (like Craigslist, but on Facebook). Something else I found at IKEA is the Kallax, an awesome cabbie style storage system. Plus the cube boxes perfectly matched the paint colors for the nursery! And the pillow is from IKEA as well, I thought it would be a great gender neutral pop for whatever my rocking chair would look like! This room is just about perfect for a nursery, but the only thing that really was a challenge was the tiny closet. After pursuing Pinterest for ideas and inspiration, I decided that a partial DIY was in order. I found the BILLY bookcase from IKEA would be ideal because it as so narrow (we do have a majorly narrow closet to begin with. I had John install it to the right hand side and then he installed the little clothing rods (two rows), pre my direction. I think this was the perfect solution for the nursery closet, plus I have a shelf on the top for bulky items that I wouldn't need to access very often. And I have everything hanging up arranged by size. Here's a little panoramic of the progress that we've made on the nursery. More to come later!!
